Tonite I was ashamed to read the comments of the admin of a Facebook 'Islamic' group.
He posts a video-lecture of some Sheikh Feiz in Australia talking about the importance of lowering one's gaze. Then he posts the translation of Verses 31 to 34 of Surah An-Naba (78th Chapter of the Noble Quran). The following is the thoroughly incorrect translation he posted, ruining the beauty of this very nice verse with utter vulgarity that dwells in their own minds.
"Verily, for al-Muttaqoon, there will be a success; gardens and grapeyards and young full-breasted [mature] maidens of equal age." [Qur’an, 78:31-33].
Still more appaling .... he writes below this verse: "The only reason why I have quoted the above verse of the Qur'an is to encourage my brothers to have patience, insha Allah."
Encouraging your brothers to have patience by manipulating such types of lies against Allah ????!! This is largely the effects of Hadith which, apart from its colossal lies, is filled with similar cheapness and inelegance, if not downright perversion.
DEAR SISTERS & BROTHERS, PLEASE NOTE, THE CORRECT TRANSLATION OF VERSES 78:31-34 is:
"Lo! for the duteous is achievement -
Gardens enclosed and vineyards,
And maidens for companions,
And a full cup." 78:31-34
"full cup" refers to the refreshing drink in Paradise. Not "full breasted" women. For the sake of Allah, what's wrong with these people?!!!! They seemed to have forgotten the Day of Judgment completely.
That's why it's so important to pick a real good and reliable translator.
Of course I've quit this group as I don't trust it any longer.

This is despicable! and u know, it again arises from bungled translations. Some translations are surreptitiously playing about with Verse 33 of this Surah. Abdullah Yusuf Ali, who has translated the Quran by trying his best keeping it compatible with the Hadith, wrongly uses the word "voluptuous women." Few others like Shakir and Daryabadi whose translations are almost copycap versions of Yusuf Ali with the same intent, have used similar terms along with a couple of orientalists whose profiency in Arabic as well as their motives were questionable. Otherwise, majority of the well recognized translators who are known to be focused on the text of the Quran rather than keeping their translations in conformity with Hadith, have rendered the authentic translation.
ReplyDeleteThe following are a dozen different translations by well-known authors. None of them have used that vulgar insinuation.
"And maidens for companions," (Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall)
"nubile, well-matched companions," (Abdel Haleem) ["nubile" means mature in age.]
"and nubile maidens of similar age," (Aisha Bewley)
"and splendid companions well matched," (Muhammad Asad)
"And youthful (companions), equals in age," (Maulana Muhammad Ali)
"And splendid companions, well-matched." (Shabbir Ahmed)
"Companions of equal age;" (Syed Vickar Ahamed)
"And well-matched young maidens," (Tahir al-Qadri)
"And graceful maidens of the same age," (Ahmed Ali)
"And maidens of a single age." (Faridul Haq)
"and young maidens of equal age," (Wahiduddin Khan)
"Magnificent spouses." (R. Khalifah)
Also keep in mind and be careful, there are people who are going about changing the translations of Marmaduke Pickthall in order to make them similar to that of Yusuf Ali. I have a very old copy of Pickthall's translations and I know for certain that his actual translation of this verse is as I've quoted above. But in a few English translation websites of the Quran, I've seen this verse and some other verses too being changed by with similar words & sentences used by Yusuf Ali. Yeah, I know this is disgraceful. It's pathetic that our 'scholars' are behaving like thieves. The top choice of our mainstream Ummah (that consists of Hadith followers) is Yusuf Ali and Shakir. The new Hadithist translators are walking on their footsteps. Yes, you are absolutely right. Nowadays, for those who don't know Arabic, need to be extremely careful while choosing a translator. Before selecting a translator I would suggest do some research by studying about them. Especially be careful with the later generation translators, many of whom call themselves "translators" after attending a few basic courses in Arabic language. In fact, at present, translating the Quran is being taken so lightly that it's become just anyone's job. Every 'tom, jane & harry' with some makeshift knowledge of Arabic think they can undertake the job of translating the Quran into English. The result of their works is a big pile of false info. And that shouldn't be surprising.
My advise to all would be, stick to Marmaduke Pickthall. He is the safest.

Well yes ,,,, this tampering with translations of Quranic verses on companions of Paradise is being done since long by quite many. Abdullah Yusuf Ali is No.1 cheat. and orientalists like George Sale and Arthur Arberry also waver by borrowing ideas from ones like Yusuf Ali and Muhsin Khan. Muhsin Khan is another mischief-monger. Correct me if I'm wrong, he's the one who's also translated the hadith in english. These guys have used words like "vuluptuous" and "swelling breasts." After all, you must have heard that bit about martyrs getting 72 virgins in Paradise. The Quran says nothing of the sort but the hadith does and these translators try to bring their translations close to hadith.
ReplyDeleteBeing more specific, this "full breasted" crap is the brainchild nonsense of damned Bukhari & Tirmidhi. And another expression used by some weak & deviant translators which is "swelling breasts" or "round breasts" comes from the scoundrel Ibn Kathir. Regarding V.78:33, ibn Kathir writes that the verse describes the physical attributes of the virgins. He construed the verse as: "This means round breasts. They meant by this that the breasts of these girls will be fully rounded and not sagging, because they will be virgins, equal in age."
Bukhari, the master hypocrite, writes: 'Allah’s Apostle said: "In Paradise there is a pavilion made of a single hollow pearl sixty miles wide, in each corner of which there are wives who will not see those in the other corners; and the believers will visit and enjoy them." ' Sahih Bukhari 6:60:402

Tirmidhi's sickening LIE in volume 2 of his collection is a paragraph describing a 'houri' which says: "A houri is a most beautiful young woman with a transparent body. The marrow of her bones is visible like the interior lines of pearls and rubies. She looks like red wine in a white glass. She is of white color, and free from the routine physical disabilities of an ordinary woman such as menstruation, menopause, urinal and offal discharge, child bearing and the related pollution. A houri is a girl of tender age, having large breasts which are round (pointed), and not inclined to dangle. Houris dwell in palaces of splendid surroundings."
ReplyDeleteAnother Tirmdhi LIE: vol. 2 states on page 138: "Every man who enters paradise shall be given 72 (seventy-two) houris; no matter at what age he had died, when he is admitted into paradise, he will become a thirty-year-old, and shall not age any further. A man in paradise shall be given virility equal to that of one hundred men."
As if so much of FALSEHOODS and insults hurled on the Quran and the Prophet wasn't enough by the 9th and 10th centuries imams, they also wrote an alleged fowl narration by Ali bin abi Talib. I think it's from either Bukhari or Tirmidhi, Vol. 4, Page-172, No.34 which writes: 'Hozrot Ali (r.a) narrated that the Apostle of Allah said, “There is in paradise an open market wherein there will be no buying or selling, but will consist of men and women. When a man desires a beauty, at once he will have intercourse with them as desired." '
So you see where all this big crap is coming from? It's coming from the wishful thinking of the delirious and perverted minds of disbelieving men called 'imams' who have fallen so low that they have reached the point of no return. Hence, translators like Muhsin Khan, Hilali, and orientalists Arberry, Sale, Henry Palmer and John Meadows have all used these terms from the writings of these imams' depraved world of fantasies. THIS IS NOT ISLAM. THIS IS SIMPLY A BUNDLE OF AMMUNITIONS HANDED OVER TO THE ENEMIES OF ISLAM OUTSIDE FROM A SET OF ENEMIES OF ISLAM (HYPOCRITES) WHO ARE WITHIN AND FALSELY CALL THEMSELVES "MUSLIMS."

Hadith and our "scholars" are such shaitans that though they say painting pictures is haram, yet there is an artist's impression of an imaginary hand painted picture depicting 72 virgins naked in Paradise and no one objects to it. You can see this painting in the WikiIslam link at the end of this post. Warning! it's disgracefully disturbing.
ReplyDeleteFalse Hadith by shaitan Imam Tirmidhi says: "It was mentioned by Daraj Ibn Abi Hatim, that Abu al-Haytham 'Adullah Ibn Wahb narrated from Abu Sa'id al-Khudhri, who heard the Prophet Muhammad PBUH saying, 'The smallest reward for the people of Heaven is an abode where there are eighty thousand servants and seventy-two houri, over which stands a dome decorated with pearls, aquamarine and ruby, as wide as the distance from al-Jabiyyah to San'a."
This concept is also repeated by that other shaitan and enemy of Allah, Ibn Kathir, in his tafsirs.
Again quoting from WikiIslam site - "Orthodox Muslim theologians such as al Ghazali (died 1111 CE) and Al-Ash'ari (died 935 CE) have "admitted sensual pleasures into paradise. The sensual pleasures are graphically elaborated by Al-Suyuti (died 1505 ), Koranic commentator and polymath."
What this sex-starved neurotic, al-Suyuti, has written is so, so DIRTY! Nonetheless I'll quote it because people should know about these lying criminals who are determined to corrupt Allah's Message and the religion of Islam. Suyuti's words are quoted as under:
"Each time we sleep with a Houri we find her virgin. Besides, the p**** of the erected never softens. The erection is eternal; the sensation that you feel each time you make love is utterly delicious and out of this world and were you to experience it in this world you would faint. Each chosen one [i.e. Muslim] will marry seventy [sic] houris, besides the women he married on earth, and all will have appetising vaginas." Al-Itqan, p. 351
You can check many more such dirty lies from the mouths of the medieval sex maniac kaffir imams who, InshAllah, will burn in the depth of Hellfire for their infinite shaitani of vulgar ideas, gross lies and slandering the Noble Quran and the Prophet. More info is available at
http://www.wikiislam.com/wiki/72_Virgins
PLEASE REMEMBER - ALL THIS INFORMATION IS FALSE. THE MOTIVE OF THESE IMAMS IS DISHING DIRT ON OUR BEAUTIFUL FAITH. IT'S BASICALLY ALL ABOUT THE LUST OF MISGUIDED MEN. THAT'S WHY SOME DIRTY MINDED TRANSLATORS HAVE FALLEN INTO THIS TRAP AND PREFER TO ACCEPT IT. THOSE FEW ORIENTALISTS WHO USE SUCH TRANSLATIONS ARE IDIOTS WITH SCANT KNOWLEDGE OF ARABIC PLUS THEY ARE ALREADY USED TO THE DIRTY BIBLICAL HISTORY FILLED WITH SEX TALKS, SO THEY FIND NOTHING UNUSUAL THINKING THIS WAY.
PLEASE DO NOT CONNECT SUCH INFORMATION WITH THE REAL, CLEAN AND BEAUTIFUL NOBLE QURAN AND ISLAM, AND OUR BELOVED PROPHET MUHAMMAD (SAW).

As for the reward of martyrs strictly according to the Quran is:
ReplyDelete"Those who fled their homes for the cause of Allah and then were slain or died, Allah verily will provide for them a good provision. Lo! Allah, He verily is Best of all who make provision.
Assuredly He will cause them to enter by an entry that they will love. Lo! Allah verily is Knower, Indulgent.
That (is so). And whoso hath retaliated with the like of that which he was made to suffer and then hath (again) been wronged, Allah will succour him. Lo! Allah verily is Mild, Forgiving." (Al-Hajj - 22:58-60)
This is all what the Noble Quran says about rewarding martyrs. Nothing more. All other narrations & concepts outside the Quran regarding the reward of martyrs are contrived stories from the Hadith garbage and imagination of the imams that have nothing to do with the Quran nor the Prophet. Allah gives us absolutely NO reasons to accept these presumptions even for a minute! So you can figure out how much concoctions have been injected into Islam by these criminal imams and happily received by those Islam-hating Westerners.
Thanks for reading,

Thanks for the very illuminating replies. I would like to share one more thing out here.
ReplyDeleteA reader of this thread I was talking to said he couldn't analyse how this information refuted that mistranslation as incorrect. He further gave the link of a dictionary of sorts (Arabic to English) at Quranstudy.com with the word وَكَوَاعِبَ in V.78:33 and its meaning (rather, meanings) in English. Of course I'm certain this person did understand our argument as to how that wrong translation got its origin, but for some reason, he seemed on denial outwardly. His purpose for giving the link of this thesaurus was because initially, as one of its definitions, it defined the term وَكَوَاعِبَ as "protruding."
I quote my response as below which clarifies the matter more directly and is a very important apect to remember.
"'Kaf Ain Bay' as representing وَكَوَاعِبَ in V.78:33 in the Quranstudy link has a chain of different meanings starting with a few references to ones like "swelling, protruding .." and then coming on to much more varied and diverse elucidations such as "joint, juncture, nobility, eminence, glory, anything elevated .." and also associating it with square or cubic shapes as of the Kaa'bah. As a believer, I know for sure Allah does NOT use lewd language nor does the Glorious Quran express the concept of companionship with cheap insinuations. Apart from the fact that the Quran is Divine, it's recognized as the most exquisite piece of Arabic literature. So, why must the translators pick terms like "swelling" or "voluptuous" to translate that word in V.33 instead of "noble, glorious, elevated" etc? The reason is that those translators who adhere to the Hadith aim to keep Quran translations in conformity with the tafsirs of Bukhari, Tirmidhi, Ibn Kathir etc. which are peppered with imaginary sexual fantasies with galling descriptions of the female body. Similarly, the weblink of QuranStudy.com provided here and many more similar ones cater to Hadith tafsirs to the fullest. Thus, they have to make sure that to define various Quranic words of Arabic in English (or other languages), they need to keep in mind the words used by the Hadith writers and include them in their definitions."
I hope all of you now understand why these Arabic to English dictionaries on the Quran contain such out of context definitions of words. It's because they have to otherwise the Hadith tyrants will wage war on them.
well can you tell me which holy qur'an has the correct translation.. or which one is the best to use?
ReplyDeleteI read the translation of Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall.
DeleteAlso, translation of Abdel Haleem is very good and just as reliable.
Deletewhat i should of asked was where did you get that translation from or did you translate it yourself?
ReplyDeleteNames of all translators have been mentioned in the blog post. Please read again carefully.
DeleteIts meaning is actually fertile soil. Hardly related to woman at all. Context is garden , vineyard, grape juice.
ReplyDeleteIt's disheartening to see discussions around the distortion of Quran translations. Many people may misinterpret or selectively translate verses without understanding the broader context, which can lead to misunderstandings. It's essential to approach the Quran with respect and a commitment to understanding its true meanings. For anyone looking to deepen their comprehension, I highly recommend reading Surah Yaseen in PDF format. It’s a beautiful Surah that emphasizes the core messages of faith and guidance, providing clarity and inspiration.
ReplyDeleteSubhanAllah, it’s disheartening to see such distortions of the Qur'an, especially when it comes to matters as sacred as the verses of Allah. The beauty and profound meaning of Surah An-Naba should never be marred by misinterpretations or inappropriate translations. It's important to always approach the Qur'an with respect and understanding, seeking the guidance of authentic scholars and well-established tafsir.
ReplyDeleteThe true message of these verses is a description of the rewards that await the righteous in Jannah—described in the Qur'an in a way that speaks to the purity, joy, and blessings of the afterlife, but it must be conveyed with clarity and accuracy. We should strive to share knowledge that uplifts and strengthens the hearts of the believers, not tarnish it with incorrect interpretations.
As we work on deepening our understanding of the Qur'an, I highly recommend reading Surah Yaseen, which holds a profound spiritual message. It is a surah that has been praised for its guidance and blessings. Downloading a Surah Yaseen PDF with a trustworthy translation and tafsir would help us reflect on its true meanings, ensuring that we are always sharing and spreading the beauty of Allah's words accurately and respectfully.
May Allah guide us all to convey His message correctly, with wisdom and understanding. Ameen!
