Be it the military or the civilian government, in Myanmar they are both the same - stony, blood thirsty bigots. They are both involved in the ghastly genocide of Rohingya Muslims killing, raping and displacing at least 2 million who had been peacefully residing in the eastern province of Myanmar since generations and are the indigenous people of that land. They have been targeted only because of their Faith. Both the military and Suu Kyi have been equally complicit in this mass murder. Dozens of organizations have revoked the awards they previously bestowed on Suu Kyi plainly calling her an "ethnic cleanser" which is exactly what she is along with her country's military. Since she has now been deposed by her own military, it's an internal matter between two sets of killers. If the West uses the coup an an excuse to again glorify this murderous old woman, it will be yet another shattering tragedy in this unjust world.
