WILL THE ICC SHOW SOME RESPECT FOR JUSTICE AND ACT GUTSY FOR A CHANGE, OR THROW DUST IN THE EYES OF THE WORLD AS USUAL?

Even for someone as subservient and collaborative as Mahmoud Abbas it eventually got tough to subsist and cope with the repression of his Zionist partners. On December 31, rejection of the Palestinian resolution by the United Nations for an independent Palestinian statehood and an end to Israeli occupation by 2017 was another debilitating blow on an already battered and defenseless community. The draft resolution was plainly vetoed failing to get the minimum nine "yes" votes. Not knowing where to turn, Palestinians have now appealed for help from the war crimes court. The Rome Statute of International Criminal Court claims it is entitled to deal with war crimes on occupied Palestinian territory. But if it was that simple for the Palestinians to seek redress, wouldn't they have approached the ICC much earlier?

Insulting the IQ of the world's populace, U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, Samantha Powers, said “We voted against this resolution not because we are comfortable with the status quo. We voted against it because ... peace must come from hard compromises that occur at the negotiating table.”    SWINE !!
