POTUS was scheduled to visit UK around third week of February 2018 to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the US embassy moved to a new location in London. He says he called off the visit because he doesn't agree with the relocation. Not true. Since the past two months there have been enormous demos and mass mobilization demanding Trump not be allowed into UK. Britain's conservative government is trying hard to have close ties with his administration. But the society in Britain is presently very cosmopolitan and millions of Brits hate him for his offensive and divisive policies. It was clear to him that if he went ahead with this visit, it would be much too embarrassing for him and his country. Millions would be demonstrating and blocking the streets with humiliating posters. It would be much too obvious in the eyes of the international community how profoundly the man is detested.
Social media is chanting, "he got the message." Good work by the participants of mass mobilization.
