"With Pakistan's Prime Minister at his side, Trump threatened to wipe Afghanistan ""off the face of the earth."" He said, "" We’re not fighting a war. If we wanted to fight a war in Afghanistan and win it, I could win it in a week. I just don’t want to kill 10 million people."" To underscore that his remarks were meant as a threat, Trump added, ""I have a plan to win that war in a very short period of time” and repeated the figure of 10 million dead. He then turned toward Khan and declared, 'You understand that better than anybody.' "" Pakistan’s prime minister voiced NO objection to Trump’s threat to unleash genocidal violence against Pakistan’s northern neighbor. Instead Khan slavishly hailed the US president as the head of the ""most powerful country in the world."" Later, he issued an obsequious tweet thanking Trump ""for his warm & gracious hospitality"" and ""his wonderful way of putting our entire delegation at ease."" Has America's white supremacist President humiliated and tamed any of his lap kitties as disrespectfully as this? All perks offered depended on how obediently Mr. Khan withstood the ignominy hurled at him. Once is one too many for now there's no turning back to assert you won't take strong-arm tactics.
chota boodha baray boodhay sey darta hai.
ReplyDeletehummm ... he is a punjabi and his cowardice is that of a pathan.
ReplyDeleteNo surprise. No one was expecting him to perform 'knight in shining armor' sort of performance to rescue 'new Pakistan.' This man has been a thundering coward for decades ... like his predecessor his only goal is a periodical hair transplant on his balding scalp.
ReplyDeleteha ha ha. good reads folks. I agree no reasons for surprise here.
ReplyDeleteHe was testing Khan by antagonizing him as much as he could saying all those horrible things about his genocidal plans. The idea was that if Khan is able to cope with it and remain obedient then he would be entertained well with a happy ending, getting a cricket bat as a souvenir n gift. Otherwise it would be a cold reception and departure of the guests. Imran Khan remained religiously obedient and everything went well. But the point is that now since he has caved in to the bully, he will have to stick to the same path for as long as he works with Trump.
ReplyDeleteExactly, very true. Khan fell into the trap - whether deliberately or inadvertently - and now it won't be easy not to dance the White House dance.
Delete:( Pakistan's new chapter with America started with all signs of returning to square one. Potus handled it with cunning. Pakistan is cornered again. Trump also said it wasn't the fault of Khan's predecessors for not doing enough as they were not dealing with the right president. A stupid person might think Potus was being polite toward Pak leaders. Not at all. He was hinting mainly on Obama and he meant that Obama wasn't strict enough like himself to twist their ears and coerce them to follow orders. But now since Khan is dealing with the 'right president,' he will be a 'good boy' otherwise ........
DeleteThat's very correctly perceived Ruhi.
