U.K. government says it will now provide "royal navy escort" for Brit-flagged tankers passing through the Strait of Hormuz.  

Wowie !!  

Do those poop-heads really not know that the audio recording and intercepted radio communications have indicated that a British warship was already there which tried but failed to stop the IRGC impounding Stena Impero?   Among several other sources, this was reported by Washington Post itself.  Veterans Today stated with images that there were three U.K. warships present in the Strait of Hormuz and none could assist Stena Impero.    It writes with satellite images (see above) "Boris Johnson buggered!  Iran takes British oil tanker while 3 UK warships powerless to help."  LOL .. not my language folks, quoting VT editors.
