Two Sides of the Same Coin

When it comes to foreign policy, is there any difference between the Dems and Reps?  Have any of them ever respected the sovereignty of a Muslim state and the lives of its people?  Trump bombed Syria shortly after coming to the WH, Biden did the same. Talking of FP, every U.S. administration behaves no different than those far-right terrorists invading the Capitol.   What a shame .. is an understatement!

Stop the War Coalition condemns the airstrikes launched by President Biden on Syria. There is no justification for further intervention in the Middle East. The US says that the attack, which has led to multiple deaths, was aimed at Iranian backed groups operating in Syria and Iraq. It will only exacerbate existing tensions in the region.

The role of the US in Iraq has been catastrophic for the people of that country and the whole Middle East. The US still has 2,500 troops in a country they have devastated since they invaded in 2003. Biden is following in the footsteps of his predecessors despite all evidence that military interventions do nothing but create destruction and misery and the conditions for future wars.

Stop the War Convenor, Lindsey German, said: "It's a disgrace that President Biden managed just 35 days before bombing the Middle East. He becomes the latest in a long line of US Presidents to use treat the Middle East as a bombing ground. Decades of US intervention in the region are cast iron proof that bombing raids do nothing to bring about peace."

U.S. War Machine:  Now Under New Administration

Have no doubts, the American people are disappointed.  Those who voted for Biden feel they have been let down.

Not just that, the successor of the madman at Mar-a-Lago has barely touched on any of his promises.   It's been 35 days and bombings came a bit too quick, but little work at home that lies devastated with Covid19 and a crawling economy after four shattering years!

You bet, the establishment is back ๐Ÿคจ

  1. Before flying to DC for the inauguration Biden spoke in Delaware, he got overly emotional .. he actually cried. Probably he could hardly wait to begin the bombings.

  2. Ha ha! there it goes again ..... over half a million Americans dead in the past 11 months. Yet the establishment's yearning to kill outside its borders never diminishes.

  3. Don't forget, papa Netanyahu is watching like a hawk and he hates Iran, he detests Syria and he wants to weaken the Resistance. After 35 "long" days if WH doesn't order any bombings who will cajole the fury of papa?

  4. Frankly I didn't expect the "war machine" to fire that soon under the new admin; certainly not at a time when its own backyard is in a pathetic mess.

  5. Does anyone still believe that the madman's successor will be less mad and stop helping the Saudis to continue the annihilation of Yemen?

    1. WH says Iran-backed fighters in Syria were bombed because U.S. won't tolerate targeting of American interests .. and U.S. interest in war-torn Syria is currently robbing that country's oil, a thievery project started by Trump (despite being the seditious traitor in his own country). Audacious how armed marauders and trespassers demand acceptance. Analogically that's like robbers with guns breaking into a home and then pretending to be victims whose interests have been violated when the residents of the household resist.

    2. Spot on. It isn't a new administration and new bombing. It's an old establishment and old bombing.
