India is sending more than half a million super spreaders to occupied Kashmir in the midst of a pandemic. This was announced by the occupying Indian army. These super spreaders of Covid19 are the Hindu pilgrims.
This nationalistic pilgrimage will bring in 600,000 potential super spreaders from India into Indian-occupied Kashmir.
Not only is India violating COVID precautions, it is doing so at the expense of Kashmiris. A few months ago, uncapped tourism from India caused COVID cases to rise exponentially. The upcoming Hindu nationalist pilgrimage is practically a death sentence for the people of Kashmir.

Since May 6, India has forbidden Kashmiri NGOs from accessing lifesaving oxygen. Instead, all oxygen is only reserved for the Indian army and specific "designated hospitals".
This month, oxygen plants that were reserved for Kashmiris were taken from the Muslim majority Kashmir Valley and sent to Jammu (which is predominantly Hindu.). This is blatant religious discrimination.
Of the 64,300 cases from May 1st to 15th, 40,900 are reported in Kashmir and 23,400 in Jammu.
As cases in Kashmir increase daily, India is actively depriving Kashmiris of life-saving medical aid.
That's not it - Kashmiris are also being purposely deprived of vaccinations by the Indian state. Since April 30, 2021, vaccination supplies have halted in Kashmir "for reasons that have not been communicated".
Demands for the vaccination have skyrocketed in Kashmir after the devastating second wave of COVID swept across India and reached Kashmir as well, due to state-promoted & uncapped tourism of Indians coming into Kashmir.
Vaccinations are "conveniently" skipping Kashmir. Just on May 16 of this year: 9,000 people were vaccinated in Jammu. 0 people were vaccinated in Kashmir.
To top it off, the Indian occupation has forbidden Kashmiri health professionals from speaking with journalists and media about their discriminatory vaccination apartheid in Indian-occupied Kashmir.
India's blatant negligence & religious discrimination have stunted Kashmir's healthcare infrastructure. The recent halt on medical supplies being sent to Kashmiris is no less than declaring a death sentence for the people.
