Do 'humanitarians' really hate apartheid?

Pacifists never get tired of their preachings on "loving all humanity" usually with images of the Dalai Lama. However, at present, Buddhist monks and their representatives are holding a special conference in Myanmar for the segregation of the country's Muslim minority from the mainstream. But I don't read nor hear of any questions from the lovers of pacifism nor any reprimands from their quintessential pharisee. Or, is apartheid the "modern" way of loving humanity?
