GAZA: Story of Razan al-Najjar

A Palestinian medic in Gaza, 20-year-old Razan Najjar, who regularly attended the Gaza protests that began March 2018 was dedicated to saving the lives of Gaza civilians randomly shot by Israeli forces.  Last Ramadan, June 2018, as she ran forward to help an injured demonstrator, Israeli occupying soldiers fired 3 bullets across the fence hitting Razan in the chest.  Her garment was drenched in blood.  She was pronounced dead within minutes.

What they found in the pocket of her vest were rolls of unopened bandages she constantly carried to dress the wounds of people she tried to save.  Her friends referred to those bandages as her "ammunition."

Last June, Razan was the 120th victim who succumbed to Israeli bullets.  From June until now, at least 35 more have been killed.  Total deaths tonight stand at 155.

The Great March of Return was launched by Palestinian organizers in Gaza near its border with the illegal state of Israel on March 30, 2018.  The protest demands that Palestinians refugees - forcibly exiled in 1948 during the start of Israeli occupation - and their descendants be allowed to return to the Palestinian land which Zionists later named 'Israel.'

Is the world listening?
