MONEY COULD NOT TALK THIS TIME

“The US government and some Gulf countries tried to bribe Rami Makhlouf, a cousin of Syria’s President, to break with the government and leave the country. Some other well-known figures have also been offered large sums of cash to break ranks.  Last month, one prominent Syrian nationalist who works with the government told this observer of receiving a $ 50 million offer to defect and leave Syria. The official rejected the bribe and ridiculed the government that made the offer by explaining that as proud Syrian nationalists, no amount of money would break the sacred bond between Syrians and their country.

With respect to Mr. Maklouf .... he has maintained his steadfast support for Syria in the face of several attempts to assassinate him as well as targeting him as a leader of the Syrian business community.  Rather than rejecting Syria for  American offers of protection, Makhlouf  channeled much of  his assets for the benefit of  domestic charities and  rehabilitative projects,  providing  jobs for the unemployed and loans for small investors as well as 'at cost'  family housing for many of the internally displaced. This initiative continues ..... to ease somewhat, the devastating effects on the current crisis on the Syrian civil society.

According to analysts many wealthy Syrian capitalists fell into the U.S. trap .... sanctions prompted them to leave Syria and defect from the regime. The United States and its European partners continue to wage an economic war against Syria by imposing  crippling sanctions which are affecting the lives of ordinary  citizens in many ways from food and fuel costs to medical care.

Why Rami Makhlouf and other strong nationalists in Syria’s business community are being targeted  ... is that their bonds with Syria as well as their business acumen are blocking the Western scheme because they provide the Syrian government with much needed additional financial strength to rebuild Syria, in cooperation with other countries, but without being subject to the economically fatal conditions the US-led plan envisages.

US Treasury Department considers Makhlouf and others like him in the Syrian business community as fully capable, if allowed, of helping Syria’s government to collect huge sums from international investors to help rebuild Syria without being subject to Western domination.”

Ezz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigade (Hamas military wing) - The most hideous traitors ever!

During the liberation of Qusair, scores of terrorists were killed and scores taken prisoners. Soon after, a certain discovery was unspeakable. Members of Al-Qassam Brigade were found among the dead and captured fighters of Al-Nusra and FSA.

This proves not just a few Hamas leaders are supporting the Syrian invasion at a political level, but the entire Hamas organization including its military wing is involved.

On the third week of November 2012, Israel attacked Gaza that lasted for 12 days, killed more than 400 and many neighborhoods were flattened. The Syrian Government, beleaguered and under attack itself by America's al-Qaeda allies, was one of the first to raise its concern and condemn Israel's murderous aggression. But instead of strengthening their resistance against the Zionist state, the turncoats of Qassam Brigade are attacking those who supported them.

Hamas' relationship with Iran had begun to sour soon after Hamas joined the GCC against Syria. And now, with this latest grim discovery in Qusair, its ties with Hezbollah have broken off too. Ali Baraka, the Hamas rep in Lebanon, has been told by Hezbollah to leave Lebanon, and why not? The trust is broken. Israeli media is gloating. Until late last year, Hezbollah supporters in Lebanon waved Hezbollah & Palestinian flags together. It took little effort for the West and Gulf Arab leaders to ignite the flame of fitnah with money & weapons to Hamas leaders and Al-Qaeda militants. Little did they know what a thumping success that would be. If only the Sunni world could see who is benefiting from this mad disease called 'sectarianism.'

Since Qassam Brigade has been clandestinely working so closely with Al-Nusra and FSA on the battle field, plenty of useful weapons sent by US and EU would surely be close at hand. But even if Qassam acquires some of those weapons, they will only use them against their Muslim brethren, never against the real enemies killing them and occupying their land.

What a rueful shame! Chickens and spiritless cowards like Khaled Meshal and Ismail Haniya ugently need to drown themselves in their own pot of piss.

Isra and Meraj as in the Noble Quran

The amazing event of Isra and Meraj as described in the Noble Quran is not just exhilarating to read, but it also helps us to assess the quantum of illogical interpolations added to this very significant and truthful event by the story tellers and gossip mongers.

The man-written Hadith narration about the Prophet's (sw) journey of Isra and Meraj is very detailed.  Briefly put, the tale claims the Prophet Muhammad (sw) met all of the previous prophets, explored every bit of Paradise etc. and Almighty Allah appointed fifty daily prayers for believers.  It claims further, Prophet Moses told Prophet Muhammad to request Allah to lessen the number of prayers as fifty would be too much.  Prophet Muhammad returned to Allah, and after several requests it was lessened from fifty to five.

Now let's check the contents of the Noble Quran regarding Meraj.  What exactly, and how much does the Quran mention about the journey of Isra and Meraj ?  Please read the following carefully:

Surah Bani Israel:

"Glorified be He Who carried His servant by night from the Inviolable Place of Worship to the Far distant place of worship the neighbourhood whereof We have blessed, that We might show him of Our tokens! Lo! He, only He, is the Hearer, the Seer." (17:1).

"And (it was a warning) when we told thee: Lo! thy Lord encompasseth mankind, and We appointed the sight which We showed thee as an ordeal for mankind, and (likewise) the Accursed Tree in the Qur'an. We warn them, but it increaseth them in naught save gross impiety." (17:60).

Surah An-Najm:

"One vigorous; and he grew clear to view When he was on the uppermost horizon. Then he drew nigh and came down Till he was (distant) two bows' length or even nearer, And He revealed unto His slave that which He revealed. The heart lied not (in seeing) what it saw.  Will ye then dispute with him concerning what he seeth ?"  (53:6-12).

"And verily he saw him yet another time By the lote-tree of the utmost boundary, Nigh unto which is the Garden of Abode. When that which shroudeth did enshroud the lote-tree, The eye turned not aside nor yet was overbold. Verily he saw one of the greater revelations of his Lord."  (53:13-18).

In Verse 17:1, "Inviolable Place of Worship" refers to Mecca and "Far distant place of worship" is Jerusalem. The journey from Mecca to Jerusalem is known as "Isra" and from Jerusalem to the Heavens is called "Meraj."

The "sight" as stated in 17:60 refers to the vision of Meraj.  From this verse, it's likely that the Prophet got a glimpse of the "Accursed Tree" in Hell.  Some have interpreted this tree being the same as the 'Zaqqum tree.'  That's likely but cannot be confirmed.   In Surah An-Najm, verses 53:6-12 refer to the Prophet's vision at Mount Hira which have nothing to do with Meraj.  Verses 53:13-18 of this Surah again refer to the Prophet's vision of the journey of Meraj.  Allah refers to this as "one of the greater revelations."  In these verses there is an allusion to the Prophet seeing angel Gabriel by the Lote Tree.  According to the definition in the dictionary, Lote Tree is the tree in Paradise.  In these verses, Allah mentions the of the Lote Tree ("of the utmost boundary") near the "Garden of Abode" (or Paradise).

To sum up the complete event of Isra and Meraj as stated within the Noble Quran in the words of Allah:

-  The Prophet was carried from Mecca to Jerusalem.
-  Possibly the Prophet saw the Accursed Tree (but not confirmed).
-  And during this journey the Prophet saw angel Gabriel by the Lote Tree near the Garden in Paradise.

This is all that is contained within the Quran on the complete event of Meraj.  However, this doesn't mean that the Prophet saw nothing more.  Maybe he did, and only Allah would know it best.  But since He has not mentioned anything else, we cannot presume and circulate our own whims as confirmed information.  That would be forgery.   We MUST leave it up to the point described by the Noble Quran.

Compared to the concise description in the Quran, the endless intricate details fabricated by the Hadith are quoted below.  It's so extensive and different compared to the Quranic description of the same event that it would seem unwarranted, rather a violation, on the part of a believer to accept such stories as 'authentic' which brazenly clash with Quranic facts and principles.

The Hadith on Meraj:

Quote

A narration attributed to Anas bin Malik reports:
“ The night Allah's Apostle was taken for a journey from the sacred mosque (of Mecca) Al-Ka'ba: Three persons came to him (in a dream while he was sleeping in the Sacred Mosque before the Divine Inspiration was revealed to Him...they came on another night, i.e. after The Divine Inspiration was revealed to him. (Fateh-Al-Bari Page 258, Vol. 17) and he saw them, his eyes were asleep but his heart was not...So those angels did not talk to him till they carried him and placed him beside the well of Zam-Zam...He then ascended with him to the heaven of the world and knocked on one of its doors. The dwellers of the Heaven asked, 'Who is it?' He said, "Gabriel." They said, "Who is accompanying you?" He said, "Muhammad." They said, "Has he been called?" He said, "Yes" They said, "He is welcomed." ... Then Gabriel took him around that Heaven and behold, he saw another river at the bank of which there was a palace built of pearls and emerald. He put his hand into the river and found its mud like musk Adhfar. He asked, "What is this, O Gabriel?" Gabriel said, "This is the Kauthar which your Lord has kept for you." Then Gabriel ascended ... On each Heaven there were prophets whose names he had mentioned and of whom I remember Idris on the second Heaven, Aaron on the fourth Heavens another prophet whose name I don't remember, on the fifth Heaven, Abraham on the sixth Heaven, and Moses on the seventh Heaven because of his privilege of talking to Allah directly. Moses said (to Allah), "O Lord! I thought that none would be raised up above me."... But Gabriel ascended with him (the Prophet) for a distance above that, the distance of which only Allah knows, till he reached the Lote Tree (beyond which none may pass) and then the Irresistible, the Lord of Honor and Majesty approached and came closer till he (Gabriel) was about two bow lengths or (even) nearer. (It is said that it was Gabriel who approached and came closer to the Prophet. (Fate Al-Bari Page 263, 264, Vol. 17). Among the things which Allah revealed to him then, was: "Fifty prayers were enjoined on his followers in a day and a night." Then the Prophet descended till he met Moses, and then Moses stopped him and asked, "O Muhammad ! What did your Lord en join upon you?" The Prophet replied," He enjoined upon me to perform fifty prayers in a day and a night." Moses said, "Your followers cannot do that; Go back so that your Lord may reduce it for you and for them." So the Prophet turned ... till the enjoined prayers were reduced to only five prayers...The Prophet returned to Moses who asked, "What have you done?" He said, "He has lightened our burden: He has given us for every good deed a tenfold reward." Moses said, "By Allah! I tried to make Bani Israel observe less than that, but they gave it up. So go back to your Lord that He may lighten your burden further." Allah's Apostle said, "O Moses! By Allah, I feel shy of returning too many times to my Lord." On that Gabriel said, "Descend in Allah's Name." The Prophet then woke while he was in the Sacred Mosque (at Mecca). Sahih Bukhari 9:93:608 ”

The above Hadith is not just ridiculous but a waste of time for every truth-seeker who seeks guidance from Allah only.

"And strive for Allah with the endeavour which is His right. He hath chosen you and hath not laid upon you in religion any hardship;"  (22:78).

Allah has confirmed the truth that He has placed NO hardship in religion.   Hadith clearly mocks the Quran by repudiating  Allah's confirmation, claiming Allah appointed 50 daily prayers for mankind.  Hadith also ridicules the Prophet, pretending he commuted between Allah and Moses several times to lessen the number of prayers on Moses' advise, portraying the image of man scrambling helplessly hither and thither.   Accepting such malicious stories would amount to disloyalty toward Allah and the rejection of His assertion that He has placed no hardship in religion.  We all know that it would be impossible for anyone to sit down for prayers 50 times in a single day comprising of 24 hours.  If we can perceive something as simple as this, is it ever possible that Allah wouldn't?  Surely that would be a thoroughly incorrect and rude  presumption on our part.  HE is the All-Knowing and HE is aware of our capabilities and shortcomings far better than we ourselves are.

Some have inquired if this event was physical or spiritual.  Again, that cannot be confirmed as the Quran does not touch this aspect.  It could be either.  Different individuals may harbor different opinions, which is fine.  But no one has the authority to declare a final ruling.  That is only the prerogative of Allah.  I personally think the likelihood is it was spiritual .... probably.  This does not mean it was a dream as one might hastily assume.  A dream is a common experience.  The Night Journey was surely NOT a common happening.  It was very unique, one of its kind.  A spiritual journey would mean, journey of the soul without the body as in the case of death.  But in death the separation of the soul and body is permanent in earthly life, until the Day of Resurrection.  In an event like Meraj, it could have been for a few minutes or a few hours according to our calculation.  The precise duration of Meraj is known to Allah only.  The month and time of this event have also not been disclosed.

To conclude, Verse 17:1, Verse 17:60 and Verses 53:13-18 comprise of the complete and authenticate description of the Prophet's Night Journey to the heavens. A ny additions must be taken as annexations and discarded.  As careful and conscientious believers, it's our duty and responsibility not accept anything beyond what's mentioned in the Noble Quran concerning the incident of Meraj, and everything else.

Gezi Park and the embattled 'Sultan Erdogan Pasha'

When the mass protests sparked off in Istanbul on June 1st with the Turkish people resisting their Government's decision of demolishing Gezi Park for constructing a mall, my immediate inner response was a feeling of delight.  I swung my fist in the air with words of encouragement mumbling out of my mouth uncontrollably.  I  began actively following this story soon after.  I understand it better now and I feel disappointed.  It wouldn't fascinate me at all if it didn't carry any possibilities of impacting the Syrian war positively.

Frankly, I'm not concerned with Erdogan being an authoritarian at home. All countries enslaved by imperialists are run by corrupt authoritarians representing their unscrupulous masters, Erdogan being one of them. That's not a new story. Neither are the Turks insightful enough to plan a "revolution" in the real sense of the term.   They are much shallower than the Iranians and South Lebanese, more on the lines of the Arabs and Paks.   Until now they have shown no concern for the Syrian war their PM is squarely responsible for.  The Turkish protest can be judged as an anti-Islamic movement with a secular and social foundation.  It isn't about reforms, rather it's for getting back the old permissive system allowing drinking and smooching in public etc. etc.  The participants have been carrying posters  of the secularist fascist, Mostafa Kemal Ataturk.  A pro-Ataturk movement would also mean a pro-20th century Ottoman movement as the Ottomans by the end of 1800s had turned just as secular as Ataturk with more or less identical domestic & foreign policies.

At present, I don't see Erdogan following the laws of Islam either. He is following his brand of "Islam" based on rigid sectarianism mixed with serving Western/Zionist interests, lack of transparency, corruption, autocracy and complete disappearance of the rule of law concerning himself.  Three days after the Turks began protesting, he yelled at them in a televised speech, quote "they are such liars that they should all be hanged in those trees (Gezi Park)." And a few months ago, this man taunted President Assad saying "there is no bravery in killing your own people" but finds nothing wrong with his own eagerness to hang his people because they demonstrated against him.

The only reason I support the Turkish people against this man is their victory at home might make it possible to end the bloodbath in Bilad-ash-Shaam. Whatever can be done to end something as terrible as this is worth the effort.  I only have Syria in mind and whatever helps to stop that war.  There is also a lot of uncertainty involved. Though the Turkish opposition has spoken against AK Party's strategy concerning the Syrian war, there are no guarantees that even if Erdogan is out, his successor won't pursue the same (or similar) approach.

What is still not clear to me is the precise  percentage of non-secular Turks participating in these demos? Since the last two to three decades, large segments of Turkey's 74 million people have turned away from secularism to being practicing Muslims. At the moment secularists aren't supposed to comprise too much of the country's population. That's the reason Erdogan achieved three consecutive victories in the polls from 2003. If demos as huge as these are totally secular, how would one explain AK Party's continued and comfortable success until 2011?

Latest reports have opined the Turkish protests cannot be called "Islamists vs. secularists."  The crowd is very disparate from different walks of life coming together.  Secularists are concerned about issues like banning alcohol, imposition of dress codes etc.  In Istanbul Muslim women with headscarves were seen sitting on city buses and cheering young people trying to protect the park.  These young people were then seen chatting with Turkey's gay rights community workers.  Turks have been standing shoulder to shoulder with Kurds, forgetting their longstanding Turkish/Kurdish nationalism.  Housewives and retirees have appeared on the balconies of their apartments, noisily banging household pots & pans to show their support for the demonstrators. University students, traditionalists, libertarians and members of the moderate Islamist Gulen movement have all gotten together like a big bowl of tossed salad in a show of unity.  Some Islamists perceive Erodgan to be following a very aggressive form of capitalism neglecting Islamic values and environmental care.

But at the same time analysts think that Erdogan won't be overthrown and the protests will taper off eventually.  They cite two reasons for it.  First, mentality-wise the crowd is too diverse with very different priorities and perceptions.  They will not be able to adhere to a common cause for too long.  The chances are that they will run out of steam much before achieving their respective goals.  Secondly, looking at the 2011 election results, it's obvious that there is a large silent majority that hasn't come out on the streets to join the crowd because they support the government.  Experts suggest that apart from hampering with Erdogan's presidential ambitions, these protests won't hurt him beyond that.

West Bank: Demolition of homes - get a taste of it, see how it feels

Imagine this:

You are located in a particular city, town or village, living in your own home for years containing all your humble belongings.  Then one fine day the municipal authorities come along with bulldozers and turn the home you love into rubble, with a 10-minutes notice to step out or die inside.  You are dumbstruck.  You stare in disbelief.  You then find yourself and your family trying to salvage bits and pieces of your personal possessions from the debris.  A couple of days later, the city authorities come again and clear up the debris as well.  The place where your home stood until two days ago is now a flat piece of land allotted to someone else for another construction.  You are not told why your home was brought down except that someone wanted it.  You get no compensation, not a nickel.  You are only left with the clothes you are wearing.  Your destination is a refugee camp in your own country, or simply putting up few tents on some muddy or grassy field and living there with your entire family indefinitely.  Sounds unthinkable.  But it's happening in West Bank, Palestine, many times every year as a part of the post WW2 arrangement agreed upon more than 65 years ago!  While the world is duped into thinking Gaza is beleaguered and West Bank is "free," nothing could be further from the truth!  According to the words of the West Bankers themselves, "West Bank is even worse off than Gaza being under a double occupation" - occupied by the Zionist state, and occupied by the Government of Mahmoud Abbass (in cahoots with the Zionist state) usurping the Ramallah compound.

The most recent such incident took place six days ago on May 29th 2013.  Palestinians from Salaymi family living in Beit Hanina neighborhood in occupied East Jerusalem are devastated.  They cry after Israeli bulldozers accompanied by a large number of apartheid Israeli forces demolished their two storey house with the excuse that "the house has no proper license."  The family had been living there for 20 years.  Just as this was not the first such incident, it won't be the last either .. unfortunately Sad

This is what happens to those who try to stop the Zion robbers or speak up against the demolition of their homes - brute force.  No wonder so many Palestinians end up dead during protests, even if they're not shot.  This young man is evidently being suffocated, murdered, by the IDF.

Please send this around.  Also write to your local television media and ask them why the f**k don't they ever show all of this?

Ottomans - from brave warriors to western puppets

By Brother Ozcan  -  (MV contributor)

The Ottoman Empire derives its name from its founder, the Turkish Muslim warrior, Osman.   Ottoman Empire (or the Turkish Empire) ruled over a vast region for 600 years (1300 - 1922)  with its capital in Bursa, Turkey.

They were a warrior dynasty with the army being their most important institution.  The empire spread across three continents - from Hungary in Europe to Aden in Yemen, and from Algeria in the west to the Persian borders in the east.

A very brief recap of their rise and decline:

From the 1300s to the 1500s, the Ottoman Empire had some very great leaders and acquired tremendous successes.  Sultan Mehmed II conquered Constantinople (Istanbul)  in 1453.  Sultan Selim defeated the Safavids of Iran in 1514,  Anatolia in 1516 and the Mamluks in Syria and Egypt were also defeated in 1517.  Ottoman control was established in the eastern and western Mediterranean regions in 1534 by Suleiman I,  annexing Iraq and Algiers to the Ottoman Empire.    Prior to that, between 1520 and 1528, Suleiman captured Belgrade (Hungary).

Decline of the Ottomans began from the 1800s.  It was known as the era of reforms but not quite in reality.   They decided to abolish the old army and instead to build up a new European-style force.  This led to big changes within the bureaucracy and subsequently in the Ottoman society itself.   The new army was costly to maintain.  Taxes needed to be increased.  Requirement for a modern education system was felt to educate the army and state officials.  Establishment of the new army was followed by reforms and development in various public sectors.  Eventually the empire ran short of money and needed to borrow from European financial institutions.  By late 1800s, the empire was unable to pay the interest on the money it borrowed and came under complete European financial control.

The total collapse of the Ottomans was the outcome of WW1.  They fought on the side of the Germans. The defeat of Germany brought the end of the Ottomans.  In 1918 when the British began their offensive in Iraq and Syria, the Ottomans were forced to sign a treaty by which they lost everything.  The following year in 1919 the armed nationalist movement by Mustafa Kemal Ataturk began against the Greeks in Anatolia who were defeated and driven out in 1922.  On November 1, 1922, the Ottoman empire was abolished and replaced by the Republic of Turkey led by Mustafa Kemal, a secular fascist.

The unfortunate truth - fall from grace to disgrace:

As for Ottomans, they certainly weren't western puppets until the beginning of the 19th century, but unfortunately they eventually became one. The desperate attempt at westernization did not start with Ataturk.  It actually started much before him.  Since the last 150 years  (or maybe longer) the Ottomans and now Turks have had a massive inferiority complex and a strong urge to adopt anything western. During this late Ottoman era many people, mainly from the rich and the elite, were sent to countries like France to study and when they came back they had become totally westernized. They started hating their own culture and some even Islam.

These western-educated Ottomans had basically destroyed the whole empire. They also tried desperately to erase all Turkish words of Arabic origin that remind people of Islam. There were people who actually tried to wipe Islam completely off in Anatolia. In the 1930's some Turkish textbooks in schools were portraying Islam as a backward Arab and man-made religion - they went that far. Many people who were religious rightfully didn't send their kids to school in that era. The 1940s were even worse if I remember correctly; people couldn't gather to study or even talk about Islam or Allah at all. Muslims were severely oppressed by the state and the Turkish Gendarmerie breaking into people's houses and so on. There are still old people who remember those days with horror.

Mustafa Kemal took over in the mid 1920s and his anti-Islamic policies within Turkey were draconian.  But since the Turks had already drifted away from culture orientation decades prior to his rule,  Mustafa Kemal's takeover didn't seem much like a "revolution" to many of his countrymen.

Therefore, westernization and 'reformation' known as 'Tanzimat' in Ottoman Turkish, started long before the Ataturk era - to be precise in 1839. Most people think that Ataturk came to power and suddenly people became secular or anti-Islam which is really not the case.

One example of westernization of the Ottoman/Turkish elite was Nurullah Atac (1898 -1957).  In plain terms, he was a kafir, a real enemy of Islam, and amazingly even an enemy of Turkish culture, music and arts. Let's say a western wannabe of the very worst kind.  He worked for decades to erase Turkish words of Arabic origin, such as 'kelime' (kalima) etc. for the sole reason that they might remind the Turkish people of their Islamic past. And during Muslim holidays like Eid Al-Fitr he would write on his door; "We don't accept visitors during the holidays of Muslims". He was that arrogant and hostile.

Al-Duvair Massacre by FSA and Al-Nusra

On February of 2013, FSA and al-Nusra raided al-Quseir, captured the city's security headquarters, killed six military officers, 20 Syrian soldiers, then captured the town hall and a hospital, targeting many other government installations.  By the first week of April 2013, the Syrian Army prepared to retake Quseir held by the terrorists.  The battle steadily went against the terrorists.

At present, cornered and trapped at al-Quseir, the commander and spokesman of FSA has devised a new trick to acquire international sympathy and gain support for Libya-style no-fly zone bombing of Syria.  In a state of panic, Colonel Abdel-Hamid Zakaria, FSA spokesman in Turkey, has lost his mind altogether.  He calls out claiming "communities inhabited by Shiite Muslims and President Bashar al-Assad’s Alawite minority will be wiped off the map if the strategic city of al-Qusair in central Syria falls to government troops."   Since when did Abdel Hamid Zakaria become so compassionate towards the Alawite Shiites?  Since when did Syria's Alawite Shiia community become the target of President Bashar al-Assad who is himself an Alawite?   Mr. Zakaria doesn't even have the brain to construct deceit intelligently.

The world's biggest mythomaniac and fabricator, and John McCain's buddy, FSA commander Salim Idris is itching for US/NATO intervention in Syria by claiming, quote: "forty thousand Syrian civilians trapped inside Qusair are facing a possible massacre should the besieged town fall to its attackers."

THE TRUTH:  No civilian massacres have occurred in al-Quseir since the Syrian Army stepped in last April.  The presence of the Syrian Army has helped thousands of Quseir residents to leave in their protection.  Few Syrian rebels in Quseir voluntarily surrendered their weapons and moved out without resistance.  Some Quseir residents are trapped by the terrorists who are using them as human shields.

This was also confirmed by the Syrian ambassador at the UN, Faysal Khabbaz Hamaoui, as well as Alaa Ebrahim, freelance reporter from Damascus covering the Battle of Quseir.  Ebrahim reported: "Qusair – Eastern neighborhood route still open for remaining civilians who wish to leave under SAA control."

The Lemniscat blog reports:

QUOTE:

A massacre did take place, on 27 May 2013, in the Christian village of Al-Duvair, and it was by the FSA.

From 'The New American' :

“The armed rebels affiliated to the Free Syrian Army (FSA) raided the Christian-populated al-Duvair village in Reef (outskirts of) Homs near the border with Lebanon today and massacred all its civilian residents, including women and children. The Syrian army, however, intervened and killed tens of terrorists during heavy clashes which are still going on in al-Duvair village.”

The FSA massacre of the people of al-Duvair has received NO coverage in the mainstream media as it contradicts the false narrative spewed forth by “leaders” like Obama, Kerry, McCain, Cameron, Hague and Hollande that by interfering in the affairs of a sovereign country they are saving its citizens.
